Girlfriend approved today for a US tourist visa.

She is 28 with a 7 year old daughter that lives with her. She is a manager of a water sports center for almost 2 years. She only has about 20,000 baht in the bank but owns 7 rai, an apartment, and a motorbike. I am 31 and stay in Thailand about 10 months out of the year. I only work in the states for 1 or 2 months out of the year. We have been in a relationship for about 16 months. She took her bank statement, I-134 from me, my bank statements, pictures of us together and her family, tax returns from me, my passport, hotel booking confirmations, apartment rental contract with both our names, land deeds, daughters birth certificate, leave approval letter from work, and a letter from me inviting her to visit.

The interviewer never asked about her money or my money. The main thing the interviewer questioned about was how long I stay in Thailand. She looked through my passport many times and saw that I stay in Thailand most of the time on tourist visas. She asked 3 times in a different way if I lived in the US. She also looked at pictures of us together and of my girlfriend and daughter together. She really wanted to see a pictures of my girlfriends daughter in her apartment which she didn't have. The interviewer also looked at our apartment rental contract with both of our names which helped her a lot I believe. She was also questioned about where we will visit. Visa approved! Hope this information can help someone.
