Double bluff!

1st of the lame excuses.

So let's hear your lame excuses for:

Chalerm: The MiB were police officers

Korkaew: There were no MiB

Jatuporn: The MiB were soldiers

"Seh Daeng" Sawasdipol: The MiB are my "Ronin Warriors".

He has gone strangely quite all of a sudden.

Maybe reality has struck him dumb.

Well, back to the article shall we?

How do you feel about the UDD offering large amounts of money as a reward for MiB convictions? That would seem rather ridiculous if as you claim they were actually funded & controlled by the same people.

How much are the Dems offering?

I see you are back. You must have forgotten to answer the above post from MikeOboe57. Do you have time to answer now? Paitently waiting for your reply.

I wouldn't think there is much chance of the reward being paid out,to an informant, who would want to die for a couple of million baht.

"Somwang Assarasi, deputy chairman of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship, met yesterday with Department of Special Investigation (DSI) director-general Tharit Pengdit and offered his own money to double the Bt1-million bounty on each of the seven cases, to increase the incentive and bring about a speedy arrest of the culprits."

His own money?? These guys only have stolen money received from Thaksin.

My thoughts exactly. Thaksin stole enough money on his tenure that he can afford offers like that.

Besides making them look good it gives them a chance to weed out any body with the facts who is willing to come forward. Create more work for the black shirts. That is provided they even bother to change from a red shirt in to a black one.

Nothing will ever be paid. Simply a knee jerk reaction by the reds, typical of a guilty conscience; "it can't have been us because we're offering double" this is their 'proof' of innocence, like I said a double bluff plain and simple. Nothing more, nothing less. Can't believe we're even debating this??? 'rich teacher' get a life, you're either a gullible uneducated <deleted>, or just a <deleted>. Moving on...

Wearing a camouflage military uniform and canteen, Khattiya denied any link to the Ronin Warriors. But his frequent warnings of grenade attacks - right before they occur - have raised suspicions.

In February, he boasted of training hundreds of former Ranger paramilitary troops to protect the Reds. "If the state clamps down on us, we have to defend ourselves. We and our red shirt brothers may need to resort to weapons," he told reporters at the time.............

Khattiya said a Ronin Warriors' M-79 grenade assault killed several senior military officers during those clashes, forcing the army's retreat. The Ronin Warriors opened fire after a rival, hooded "men in black" death squad aided the government's side and killed civilians, he said.

"The Ronin Warriors help the red shirts because the government shoots the people," he said during the interview. "The men in black come from the government." http://atimes.com/atimes/Southeast_Asia/LE11Ae02.html

''red shirt'' occupation, and your correspondents are inside a tent with the infamous paramilitaries, dubbed ''men in black'' by the media, as they prepared for war.

They let us inside their secret world on one condition: if we took any pictures, they would kill us.

These were not the regular black-attired security guards employed by the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship, or UDD, anti-government protest group who generally didn't carry guns. These were the secretive and heavily armed agent provocateurs whose connections, by their own admission, run to the top of the UDD, also known as the red shirts.

Several UDD co-leaders have since been detained and branded as ''terrorists'' by the Thai government. On Wednesday, Thai authorities issued an arrest warrant for self-exiled former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra on terrorism charges, alleging a link between the fugitive politician and the UDD gunmen's violent campaign. Thaksin swiftly denied the charges. http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Southeast_Asia/LE29Ae02.html

Let me answer this for you.

One will know if the people he funded himself are save tucked away or not ? Since it is already 2 years now, and the government has seemingly still no trace of them, the haughtiness starts to prevail by those that controls the MIB that they never will be found and hence the show off to their uneducated followers.Money speaks volumes with this kind of people.

However, if those MIB would be found on a later date, it's well known from past events that these people when confronted with evidence will deny everything anyway.

I have never seen this article before, but the line I highlighted explains Jatuporn's request to review the cctv from the emergency headquarters, and Chalerms claim that they were police.

It is a well known fact that the police sided with the red shirts, there is enough video footage available to proof that, hence the need to get the army involved.

So it could very well be correct that the MIB were a special police force and were picked up by police van's to be delivered behind enemy lines to fight against the government.

Don't forget that the man from afar is a high ranked police officer and has very good connections at the police top.

anyone that believes these MIB were working for the government against the redshirts needs their head looked at - height of stupidity and extremely naive........seriously

and to deny they existed is even worse considering the overwhelming video and foreign press coverage

it's not a belief i follow, but what if they were hired to kill soldiers to give an excuse for the unwitting soldiers to shoot out the rally that was costing the economy greatly by the day?

as i said, it's not something i follow but it's a reason nonetheless.

You should reead my post again. What I said is that it may be possible that they were police officers, who fought WITH the red shirts to provoke the government, and were provided by one of Thaksins high connections at the police top.

This would also make it difficult for the government to proof that they had no knowledge of it.

Just what is your belief for the reason they were hired. An answer will do no need for a irrelevant question.

It's just a farce.

Two years ago they were they protectors, "guardian angels" that would come to their help.

Today they were government plants. Yeah, right.

The Red Shirts stormed a hospital on a mere rumor that there may be soldiers inside, yet there were armed men, which now they claim they had no idea who they were, moving within their protest and they didn't bat an eyelid for those.

How to spot a liar: their story keeps changing to what suits them better at the time.

No PPD. The MIB ARE controlled by the same people who offer the reward. They can get the money back. Get it!!! Therefore the amount is irrelevant.

- MIB??!! I thought they didn't exist. (According to UDD, Chalerm and the rest of the liars)

-To late to play this money/reward game. Should have done it before the dems came out.

The dems ''came out''? must be that English university education!

His own money?? These guys only have stolen money received from Thaksin.

There's never a shortage of money when it comes to Red Shirt Leaders as they routinely doled out millions of baht in cash for their own bail.

It was only when the rank and file cannon fodder Red Shirts in need of money for bail did the well dry up.

That evolved into taxpayers' money being used for their bail.

It also involved taxpayers' money being used as compensation in the millions of baht for Red Shirts when similar non-Red Shirt victims received only a small percentage of that.
