Problem with family pet leads to suicide in East Pattaya

PATTAYA:--A family dispute between a Mother and Son over excessive force used on the family cat is thought to have led the son to attempt suicide at their East Pattaya family home late on Monday Night.

Police and rescue services were called to the house after the mother, Khun Bantongage aged 52 found her son, Khun Chaimongkol aged 22 , hanging from a roof beam inside his bedroom. He had used a towel to create the noose and was quickly brought down and laid on the floor. Rescue Services conducted CPR and did manage to revive the man but he later died in Hospital.

The mother explained to Police that earlier in the night she watched her son strike the family cat several times which promoted a verbal altercation between the pair. The Son stormed out of the house and later returned. He went straight to his bedroom and slammed the door behind him to demonstrate the level of anger he was feeling towards his mother. As the rest of the family ate their dinner, it is thought the son attempted suicide.

This is a sad story. :(

It is not an "attempted" suicide if he succeeded.

What a reason to kill yourself! blink.png

It is not an "attempted" suicide if he succeeded.

Could be that the reason of his death was the driving style of the rescue people?

RIP to the victim .
