Italian Tourist drugged and robbed from Central Pattaya Hotel room

PATTAYA:--An Italian Tourist was drugged and robbed in his Central Pattaya Hotel room on Tuesday.

The unconscious occupant of room number 302 on the 3rd floor of the Classic Inn Hotel on the Central Pattaya Road, was discovered by hotel cleaners. Mr. Vito Giannuzzi aged 69 was lying naked on the bed and was due to check-out before midday.

He was found just before 2pm and a receptionist told Police that just before 2.45am, Mr. Giannuzzi was seen returning to his room with a Thai woman, thought to be aged around 45. The Hotel did not keep a copy of her Thai ID card and the Hotel’s CCTV system was malfunctioning at the time of the incident therefore only a vague description of the woman was given to Police.

An empty wallet was seen in the room and Police suspect its contents were stolen by the woman, although this cannot be confirmed for now

I'm guessing that the Classic Inn is not in the "Safety Zone". :(

Above post may contain matter offensive to some. Parental guidance is advised.

"..... only a vague description of the woman was given to Police."

"Probably female."

COULD, be female!

Nothing is risk free. Certainly not that.

Convenient they did not hold the ID and the security camera/s were malfunctioning (if they were in fact even there). Another night in the land of scams.

I wonder if i got all the maids in pattya out for some spy wine coolers and asked them to regale me with "whats some of the craziest things u see at work" kinda chat--oh the stories they could tell--

"hi honey how was your day"? "oh same same--another dead falang"

probably makes finding the dead farangs in their rooms not so exciting compared to the soapies!!

In this particular case, he was unconscious, not dead.

So the lady is a regular from the hotel? No ID card, no CCTV .... it's too easy.

Then again ...

Found naked ? did she steal his cloths also??

Just on another note, is it fair to the victim that Pattaya One news shows his full name? I kind of feel sorry for the old bloke. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Maybe she was a tailor, had to take his proper measures for a new suitswhistling.gif
