Timwin
If anybody is interested having a nice pet or two, just send me a message. We got about 10 extra, soon 2 month old very healthy rabbits. Basic instructions for handling them: Rabbits need hay (their main food), dry food, occasional delicacies from pet shop, some vitamins, water bottle, a big enough cage, saw dust for the floor from pet shop and some place to roam free daily outside the cage. Roaming free inside without supervision not recommended, unless you want carpets ripped off, sofas bitten and all kinds of cables chewed Cage with elevated floor (panel for saw dust beneath) costs about 1000 baht, food about 100-150 baht per week per rabbit. Cage should be cleaned every week with some cleaning liquid and with brush. Rabbits also like carrots but usually it is not recommended to experiment with many different foods without checking the suitability first. We keep them inside during nights and outside during days. Garlic is not suitable for rabbit food, that is one common mistake. Just buy the food stuff from a pet shop, I know a couple of places in Pattaya. There are a good animal hospital in Pattaya in case you need help with them. One is swollen and painful pawns because of dirty cage. They need antibiotic shots for that, costs about 100-150 bahts per shot. Male "fixing" operation costs 500 baht. Rabbits sometimes eat their own poop, so don't be alarmed of that. It is actually good for them.
JusticeFT96
Nongnooch came to our house yesterday to take some of my birds from me as I will be going back to the UK soon, they also took the Rabbit which I thought I would never find a good home for. If you get stuck maybe you could try them?
