Has anyone here tried for a double-entry tourist visa from Hong Kong consulate? How did it go? Someone said on this forum a few months back that the officer told him that if he wanted a second entry, he would have to show a return air ticket for the second entry. Is that still so? I have both U.S. and HK passports.

That you have a HK passport might make a difference. For home country nationals consulates tend to be less strict.
