I have never been to the new Bkk immigration office, always gotten my Tourist visa extension in the provinces. How smooth and speedy is a TV 30 day extension up there?Is it passport +photocopy+ 1 pic? Are they open on Saturdays?

It is normally reasonable speedy but there is almost always a queue to wait in for an hour or so. TM.7 form filled out with 4x6cm photo and copy of passport id page/visa/stamp/departure card and fee of 1,900 baht. Not open on Saturday/Sunday or holiday and closed from noon until 1300.

There are lots of facilities including fast and cheap visa photos and photocopying (they know what needs to be copied), banking services, etc.
