Small Denomination Dollar Notes.

Featured Replies

:o Help me. We are going to Cambodia on Tuesday and as usual have left everything till the last minute. Yesterday I went to our local bank (thai military) and asked for some US dollars. This would not be a problem I was assured of delivery on Monday. I then asked her to make sure that they were as small as possible (value wise). She told me 'can not'. They would all be $100 bills. So, can anyone suggest where I could try?

Thank you so much in advance

At Don Muang Airport, no problem. You can change THB for USD, and ask for small denominations (actually they are happy to do so, because 100 USD bill have a "better" exchange rate...).

I guess, the same would be possible in a place like Khao San Road.

If you are in the Sukumvit area there is a money changer between soi 9 & 11 called VASU that will help you out.

You could try cutting each $100 bill into 100 equal size pieces.....
