Recommendations For Guest House

Featured Replies

hello members,

I'm arriving in Thailand again in January and would like to spend a week or 2 with my gf in Chaing Mai.

The last time we were there we stayed in the Queen vic which i found excellent value for money and i really enjoyed my stay, however im under the impression it has either closed or changed hands. if so can the new place be recommended?

my budget is around 900-1200 baht a night, id like a friendly guest house with decent food ( both english and thai).

if theres anywhere else that can be recommended id be great full for your opinions.

Id also like a decent English Breakfast in the mornings that serve good thai food for my gf with out door seating.

Any help much appreciated.

thanks in advance,

Barnaby

A little more then what your budget is but I've stayed at the Rachamankha Flora House many a time.

Website here.

Friendly hosts, lovely gardens within the walls of the old city.

Did a search through Hotels combined and there were a few cheaper prices then the advertised rack rate.
