As some in here know,I have strugled whit inflamition in my left leg for a while-it is started up again.

We went to ower brooke hospital, and as usual, they just gave me some medicin(antibiotic)-I asked if he wood read the papers from Lanna hospital in Chiang Mai-no,he diddent even look at them.

Got a new apointment a few days later-he looked at it and said-thats ok-here is some more antibiotics.

Yesterday evening,I looked at it and saw the skin looked strange-as granulated rubber, and thought-have to do something, but what.

We talked about it and agree to give it a try on Mae Fahluang hospital, even we thought it wood be exspensive there.

Some surprice,I must say.

The staff who was there speak a litle bit english-anyway-we understand each other and I explained to them the storie of my leg.

The doctor-a young guy-speaking good english-looked at it-gave me another kind of antibiotic-asked me to go to Chiang Rai lab. today and get a blood test, which we did this morning-and went back to the hospital today 09. a clock.

Cost yesterday-300THB.

The blood test, which wood cost-I think several hundreds at Ower Brooke-cost 80 THB.

So if you need it,this is a new hospital (I think) and non exspensive-have an american doctor to-and they do acupuncture also-also for stop smoking and so.

I think it is much better-and looks better then Ower Brooke-beautyful surroundings, good service and cheap-and best of all-it looks like they take things serius when you came, and not just describe some medicine, whitout doing anything else.

I am a bit impressed.

The view.

Yes...I agree about MFL hospital. It is a pity the hospita part can only care for non serious cases as it does not have enough doctors. MFL physiotherapy is first class and quite reasonable/

To clarify that previous post about only being able to care for non serios patients I must stress I was refering to the inpatient part where you stay in the hospital.

I am not sure, but as being a friend of doctor Greg who works there-I will ask him to join this forum, and then I am sure he can and will answer all questions.

I talk whit him today or tomorrow.

I had a look at MFL hospital for inpatient as I was very happy to find a high standard outpatiend department that does not charge extra for us.

It seems to have plenty of rooms. We looked at a room for about 3000 baht which had airconditioning and an extra bed. It was clean and nice. THey also have shared rooms.

The problem seems to be that if you may require doctor attendance they do not........or did not 6 months ago have enough doctors to give round the clock service so I was told if I only needed it for recovery they would be happy to have me but if I was actually sick they would need to transfer me.
