aland2012
Hello All Please forgive me if this is in the wrong form... My Wife and I are living in the UK, and she is on a Spouse Visa, she arrived her 5 Sept 2010. She has a Joint Bank Account with myself, her own Phone Contract, part time job, NI card, and her name on the water gas electric bills. Everything is in her married surname ( my surname ), only her passport is in her family surname. Can she get a provisional driving licence ??? And if so what documation is needed ??? Many Thanx Alan Day
Rajab Al Zarahni
Why not just phone the DVLC and ask?
tomcreeduk
After 6 months of being in the country on a spouse visa she can.. Best bet ring the DVLA & they will tell you correct form to fill out etc
7by7
No, she does not have to be in the UK for 6 months; she is a UK resident and so can apply immediately. If she lives in Great Britain she can apply online here, by post (forms can be obtained from most posts offices), or by using the Post Office checking service. If she lives in Northern Ireland see here.
