Limestone In Pattaya Water?

Featured Replies

Is there limestone in the water here? Never really see any in my water-cookers, but recently having trouble with a new water-heater, that clogs up and shows a substance similar to limestone, which closes down the water-flow. First time in 20 yrs. here...Strange....Thanks for any info. PF..

Thanks, good observation. PF.

There certainly is in my water here in Jomtien, I have to clean my electric kettle at least once year.

Pattaya gets its mains water supply from numerous different sources. In the village where I live it comes all the way from Sattahip for some reason. Look at the hills down that way and you will see that they are all limestone, so yes, there's certainly a a lot of lime in the water where I live in South Pattaya. Maybe other more local sources like Charknok are less limey?
