Does anybody knows if here in BKK there is any Latin(South Americans, Spaniards, Portuguese, Italian) cultural center, pub, or a place in whish people of these nationalities meet to talk, make social life?I know that here there are some Italians, Mexican and Spaniard restaurant but these places( at least the ones that I've gone to) are not frecuented by fellows Latins, so I would like to know if there is such a place here. There is a Spanish-language group on Meetup. I always get the dinner invitations but so far, I have never actually been able to go. I hear these are great events.

We used the have a group that met once a month, Los Amigos, but it has been defunct for about 10 years. Also, the Asociacion Cultural Hispanico-Tailandesa was closed down a few years ago. But the Spanish embassy just sent a circular today or yesterday about a cultural event. Let me find in on my computer and I‘ll post it here tomorrow. Should be a good networking opportunity.
