Applying Visa To Ireland, Australia, And New Zealand With Adverse Immigration History

Hi,

My gf wants to apply visa to Ireland, Australia, New Zealand to accompany me but she has adverse immigration history.

She went to UK to study English 2005 and stayed there several years by enrolling at cheap English language school, then her school was closed down by UK immigration department ( UKBIA ) in 2009.

Feeling bored with London's life and receiving letter to enroll at other school/ university, she went back to Thailand within 1 month of school closure ( year 2009 ) because she could not afford to pay $ 15,000 tuition fee ( international student ) at university like Westminster Univ, Metropolitan Univ, London University.

Will she face any immigration problem ( getting visa problem ) if she applies visas to those countries ?

Can Ireland, Australia, New Zealand immigration department check her immigration history ?

I am afraid she will get refusals from all three countries as living for 4 years in UK is a proof that she might disappear if they give visa

Or is it better if she gets new passport with no visa stamp from UK ?

Can you elaborate on her adverse immigration history?

Did she have a visa cancelled, if so what for? Did she overstay and for how long?

Was she removed from the UK by Immigration?

Will need a bit more information than you have provided.

I cannot speak for Ireland or NZ Immigration, but DIAC in Australia

specifically ask if you've been deported etc on the application.

Regards

Will

Not sure what the point of changing the passport would be. Whichever country she applies to, of the ones you mention , at some stage during a new visa application (with a new passport), she would very likely still need to answer (truthfully) some questions about her previous immigration history. Also changing her passport does not change her Thai ID number and, if someone in authority wanted to, they could always check her immigration history (ie entry and exits from Thailand) via that.

I don't see that she has an "adverse immigration history". She was in the UK studying with a valid visa. If the school was shut down, it's not her fault. Even if the visa was cancelled, it doesn't mean that it is bad for her.

I think more information is needed on the circumstances of her leaving the UK before anyone could give relevant answers.

The UK government tightened up on student visas a few years ago and the institutions who could sponsor foreign students for visas due to a lot of 'language schools' sponsoring people for a student visa and then not worrying if they never saw the 'student.'

Did she overstay her UK visa? If she did, was she removed or did she leave voluntarily?
