muratremix
There is no antenna port in iphone or any other smartphone. if you need internet, try looking for mifi devices with compatible 850mhz 3g antennas. Www.aircardok.com is your friend now.
lomatopo
In this post, Thailife shows a DTAC antenna, I think that is connected to a "Signal booster" which relays the signal within the house to mobile phones? http://www.thaivisa....r/#entry5332920 There have been a few threads on this topic covering devices like this: http://karachi.olx.c...k-iid-140232502 http://www.mechashop.com/store/product/%E0%B9%82%E0%B8%97%E0%B8%A3%E0%B8%A8%E0%B8%B1%E0%B8%9E%E0%B8%97%E0%B9%8C_%E0%B8%94%E0%B8%B1%E0%B8%94%E0%B9%81%E0%B8%9B%E0%B8%A5%E0%B8%87-1503647-th.html Edited November 16, 2012 by lomatopo
muratremix
Using Signal booster for 3G internet on iPhone 4 would be a big waste of resources as the bandwith halves on these signal boosters (not sure they will work on HSUPA or HSDPA aswell) Best solution is to have AIS 2G GSM for rural areas and True-H/MyCat 3G for internet if no adsl available by TOT yet. Yes, I didn't read/understand the OP's question - I thought it had to do with just GSM. Assuming there is a CAT/TrueMove H 850 MHz tower nearby then a 3G router which supports an external antenna would be ideal. I think in that thread I linked Thailife does have just about every conceivable antenna/solution? https://www.google.com/search?q=3g+mobile+router+external+antenna&oq=3g+mobile+router+external+antenna&sugexp=chrome,mod=1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#hl=en&tbo=d&sclient=psy-ab&q=3g+mobile+router+external+antenna+site:thaivisa.com&oq=3g+mobile+router+external+antenna+site:thaivisa.com&gs_l=serp.3...11155.15601.0.15869.18.18.0.0.0.0.240.1977.11j5j2.18.0.les%3B..0.0...1c.1.XoYzMAqJ8sw&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.&fp=d5b95e33ca4bd7c8&bpcl=38625945&biw=1920&bih=989
