Good excuse to get away from town for an afternoon!

dam_n Monty, its busy enough around here with the bloody roadworks without encouraging townies to come out to the 'burbs

We went out there today in the car. Before we arrived it's was raining very heavily so the parking in the woods was turned into a mud bath, we were lucky to get out again without help (sedan car).

We managed to see 2 races which was fun to watch, they are really going for it. The are a lot of shops with everything from t-shirts/toys/food and so on.

We left pretty quickly as the clouds looked very dark and when we arrived downtown it started to rain strongly again so I am glad I got my car out of there, a bus was hopelessly stuck and a 4WD pick-up truck was trying to pull it out, no change in hell, the wheels was just spinning in the mud, I think they will need a winch to get it free.
