Former Police Officer arrested in East Pattaya Police Drug Sting

PATTAYA:--Four women and one man, who is a former Police Officer have been arrested by Police based at the Nongprue Police Station in East Pattaya.

A press conference was held there on Friday to announce the arrests and the seizure of Yabba Tablets. The first to be arrested was Khun Sumran aged 41, a former Police Officer from Angton Province in Central Thailand. He left the Police and came to Pattaya where he worked as a motorbike taxi driver, although this was thought to be cover for his other job as a suspected drug dealer. He was arrested with a single Yabba Tablet and provided Police with names of other local drug dealing suspects were were subsequently arrested.

The four female suspects are Khun Amnoi aged 57 who was caught with 50 Yabba Tablets, Khun Waree aged 45 and a 17 year old girl who were caught with 200 Yabba Tablets and Khun Wanpana aged 48 who was caught with 66 Yabba Tablets.

meanwhile do they still sell yaabaa in the soi 9 police station cells? I know they did a year or so back when I had the pleasure of spending a few nights there. a policeman came in every night and supplied the ladyboys with yaabaa to sell to the inmates. the inmates hung rugs so the cameras couldnt see them smoking and the police in the watchroom could pretend they knew nothing. one night the ladyboy lost the profits and the police turned the whole place over looking for the money
