realthaideal Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 A friend's looking n feels convinced that for the simple square type that has just a few crossbars and then sheets of plywood under the matress, that he'd be better off getting one built to his spec's. Anyone got craftsmen who've done this for them ? Open to any referrals. Anyone out there ever get a custom bedframe built ? Is it worth it, or should I point my friend to a general furniture store where they wheel and deal for cheap ?
kaptainrob Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 6 concrete blocks and 2 sheets of form-ply from Global would probably do the job @ ~ 3k baht. ... 5555 Tell yr mate to visit Homepro, SB or Koncept and grab a quality bed base c/w headboard for ~ 7,500 bt. They'll deliver and install it too.

JeffreyMcCollum Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Is your point cheep or good quality unlike the press board the squeeks and falls apart after a few years ?
Semper Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Why not put the matress directly on the floor?
