Investment Visa And Condo Ownership

Featured Replies

I have spent significant time reading through info on this site and others but don't seem to be able to find anything on my specific scenario.

I read on another site about an "investment visa". It had one of the Sunbelt guys being quoted.

As I understood the investment visa if you invested over 3 million baht you could get an investment visa. This was specific to condo ownership. My understanding was with 3 million or more invested you could receive this visa and would not have to leave the country anymore. Looks to me like that doesn't exist.

I have to assume I am not understanding the article since I have not found 1 site anywhere that lists this type of visa.

My scenario is ....bring in approx 3 million baht range for condo purchase in freehold property while getting the longest possible visa. Condo will be Bangkok or Phuket and must have good management company.

Anyone have any advice on how best to acheive that. I this info to Sunbelt via there website and got no reply.

That amount will work. We applied for two different folks yesterday with this type of visa. Both were VERY happy to get this extension of stay permit.

As for having no response from mail. Could you be so kind to pm me with the e-mail or site you visited. Our office has been closed since 5 p.m. yesterday and reopens on Tuesday because of the Holidays but like to check if our server is on the fritz. Had two cases reported already around Wednesday. Thanks
