Radish

Featured Replies

After living in Thailand for almost 26 years, I come to realise that I have never eaten any radish(es) here, which is an extremely delicious veggie with a peppery falvor. Anyone seen them anywhere in Pattaya?

I've bought them at Big C on Pattaya Klang and at Best on Pattaya Nua. Great addition to a salad.

We bought seeds of Rat's rail radish, same taste but you eat the seed pods. They will be giving a crop in a week or two. You could do it on a balcony easy enough.

I have had radish in a mixed salad here so it must exist.

The dacon (white carrot) tastes EXACTLY like a radish. I use them in my salad all the time. They are the big white carrot looking vege you see in the markets and at tesco.

Big C Extra (ex Carrefoures) had some yesterday.

Friendship has Western round, deep red radishes & daikon, too.

Foodland often has them.

Thanks to everyone for your helpful input. Next time I'm in Pattaya I will surely buy!!

Bought a couple of different varieties of raddish seeds in Chaing Mai a few months ago in the Food markets off the night bazzar. Would be a lot of places that sell them i guess. I bought them to mainly test the potting mixes i was developing but also because my gf had never eaten them either.

Sorry, I forgot about this site: http://puraorganic.org/
