Tv Sponsors Help To Make This Saturday's Charity Shopping Fair A Success

Many thanks to the Thai Visa sponsors and businesses popular with Thai Visa members for donating vouchers for the tombola (instant win) raffle and silent auction items for the Charity Shopping Fair, to be held this Saturday at JJ Market from 10 am - 4 pm.

The Royal British Legion and Lanna Care Net are the organizers, with over 20 other charities joining with stalls, many selling handicrafts made by their clients. About 100 businesses will sell great gift products. Ana Gracey will entertain and you can dine on multi-national offerings from over 20 food vendors. Plus, there's a large flea market section with 2nd hand goods.

Please come even if you don't want to buy gifts. The tombola drawing is stocked full of vouchers that anyone would love -- from The Duke's/River Market, Olde Bell, Kelly's Fish & Chips, Butter is Better, Beccofina, Chez Marco, La Terrassee, Pern's Restaurant, Riverside Restaurant, The Steak House and Rim Ping Supermarket.

For something a bit more upscale, you can bid on spa vouchers and upscale dining vouchers at Le Meridien, The Chedi, D2 Dusit in the Silent Auction. A complete physical exam at Rajavej Hospital and voucher from Assist Thai Visa are items that any resident expat can use!

Khun Pim, the editor of Citylife Magazine will conduct a live auction around 2:30 pm. Bid on hotel vouchers from D2 Hotel, Ratchamankha, The Legend Chiang Rai plus major vouchers from Fashion King and Mae Taeng Elephant Park.
