Has Uob Changed Bank Account Numbers

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I lived and worked in BKK for 18 months and left in September this year. I have continued to do some part-time work online for my old employer and she pays me every 2 weeks into my thai bank account (UOB). I can't access this account from here in Australia but am looking at building the cash up for a holiday I'm having in Thailand next October.

My old employer (who is 100% reliable and trustworthy) says that when she went to make the latest payment at UOB she was told that the account number had changed but that the account is still in my name. She asked me to check if those funds had been transferred ok but I have no way of doing this from here.

Does anyone know if UOB has changed their account numbers? Or any ideas on what I should do? I want to keep doing this work as the cash will be handy when I come on holiday next year but obviuosly don't want to continue if the money is not going into my account.

Any help on this much appreciated.

Thanks for that. I had a quick search before but couldn't find the contact page for Thailand.

Eventually found out what I needed. UOB have changed their bank account numbers. Who knows why...

Your welcome - actually I have to contact them myself regarding a house loan.
