Any Rpg / D And D Players In Korat?

There are 2 of us in Korat that like to play RPG's like Path Finder, Dungeons and Dragons. Greyhawk and other D20 games. We had a third player, but he is out of the country now. Anyone interested? We have books, dice and minis and good food to eat whilst slaying fiends and monsters!!

If you used to play as a teen or adult, you can jump back in any time!

Why do I have the feeling that there's something wrong with you?--coffee1.gif

Don't knock until you try it. There are several Dungeons and Dragons meet up groups all over Thailand. They are comprised mostly of expats in their 40's and 50's that used to play in high school and college, then stopped due to lack of time and now happily playing again now that they are in LOS. It is a great time with lots of laughs and excitement, good friends and good food!

D & D would be a bit of fun, I didn't play D&D when I was younger, but I played some of the semi related games, like hero quest, space crusade, and there were these fighting fantasy gamebooks which I used to collect. I also played a bit of advanced fighting fantasty, which was similar to D&D but simplified a lot compared to D&D I think.

I more migrated from there to the computer games though, rather than to D&D itself.

How much time does it usually take? I think from memory, when we were looking to play D&D a few times, it seemed to take forever to setup the game etc.

As yeah, I don't know if I'd be interested in getting back into it or not, but if you have a bit of a group going I might be interested in checking it out.

If any of you guys play warhammer as well, tell me as I would be interested in finding if anyone over here plays at all (Although I don't have an army in Thailand at present)

I like D and D because you get to use your imagination and interact personally with other players as opposed to playing against a computer or other players that are not in the room with you.

A game can be played / last for days, but you can set game time to however long you want it and then stop the adventure and return to it on the next game day. It is an ongoing campaign.

PM me with your contact info.

I have never played, but am willing to give it a try.
