Featured Replies

Doeas anyone know a shop where i can have some (motor)bike decal/stickers applied (preferably) around Nimmen/KSK way?

(Have the stickers, just want a shop to apply them neatly).

Thank you!

You have the stickers and need help putting them on "neatly"?

You sound as if you think she posted in the pressing community issues section by mistake?

eek you should maybe try that custom shop almost right across the street from KSK main entrance.

They seem to do a lot of modding & builds. Decals should be easy for them.

Another likely place would be any sign shop.

Because they do decals on glass for store fronts. We just had a guy do my wifes shop.

Same techniques used.

to clarify; its the "underground" entrance; take the ramp down towards the bike park/car park from Huay Kaew rd. its the last shop on the right, after about 20 posh poodle and pooch shops

Hang out and watch how they apply them.. It's fairly easy skill to master

Need

Rubbing alcohol to clean surface

masking or electrical tape to hold the sticker in place but then subsequently peel off the sticker

old credit card or spatula to smooth our wrinkles and air bubbles

Their are a few other tricks like hair dryer to cure adhesive after using a water mist to smooth the sticker down.

Use acetone or hair dryer or heat gun to remove a sticker. Depends on the sticker type which works better.

What kind of stickers are you putting on? Is this like some Hello Kitty shrine?

Actually I forgot about the one you mention. That could be a good possibility too.

The one I mentioned is across the street though. The name is "Pro" something

Usually have some Motards out front.

just coincidence then, ...and I didnt realise there was the one you mentioned either.

the place is inundated with sticker shops then?

No that place I mentioned is not a sticker shop.

More a high end bike parts place.

But they seem to do some custom work so I figured applying stickers would be a cinch

Ahh pekky prostreet. Know the shop well, but didnt think to ask them to apply the stickers.

TheVicar, when you spend several thousand on a high end motorbike, and then have some custom decals made up designed by a graphic artist, you dont want shittily applied stickers.

Thanks to everyone else for constructive suggestions! wink.png
