Neeeko
Hello, quick question: I've got a laptop which I brought from Thailand and im flying back to England, what is the type of adapter I will need for it to be able to work in the UK. And will I be able to buy this at Suvarnabhumi airport?? Also I brought some aftershave to take back, I know your not allowed liquids on as hand luggage but is it ok to put in my bag that I check in? Thanks
Upnotover
You can buy the adapters in BKK or in the UK on arrival. If you're staying there you can also just cut the plug off and fix a UK one on. And the aftershave can go in your checked baggage no problem. topt
No problem to pack loquids in your checked luggage - just make sure it cannot leak..... Depends if your Thai plug is 2 pin or three pin - but yes can buy there or UK probably better quality.
dean999
In the UK the adaptors are sold in nearly every Post Office and Post office's are everywhere. I wouldn't buy one at the airport. Always over priced. Hope you have a lovely stay in the UK and welcome. Where are you staying, if you don't mind me asking? Crossy
Pretty much as above ^^^, probably best to get a UK mains lead for your laptop power supply, any high-street computer shop will be able to help.
