Surely must have been a figure of speech. Bottles it upermm.gif

Still, it could have been worse.... he could have used the other common phrase that he'd like to "bone up" on it...................whistling.gif

Indeed he could.... But he chose a more direct way implying he would get the desired book and put it into his "glove compartment" tongue.png ,

permanently..

I don't see nobody else "takin' the effort" so i guess we'll just have to wait it out. Remember, sound advice is hard to get these days..

"Sound advice"...... Thaivisa... Hmmmm... I'm thinking there might (just might) be a flaw in your logic....cheesy.gif

Where are the cogniscenti when one needs them????

I'll take a wild guess at an answer, and get flamed, no doubt (Pfft...do your worst, guys!) Maybe wherever you go to get a driving licence might either have a well-thumber copy (cheesy.gif ), or maybe know where there might be a copy?

There's only one rule you need to know: farang has to pay.

Otherwise, the only laws you can get on your side are the laws of physics.

And from there the link to the PDF:

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=106987

From a short inspection the translations in the HTML page linked by @johndeuf seems identical:

http://www.bkkriders.com/law/landtraffic.html

I have read through it a couple of months ago and it is kind of funny when you compare with the daily horror on the roads!

OK OK MY BAD,,, a poor choice of phrase "the full Bottle"

I would just like to know the offical laws of the roads in thailand and yes i know that the falang has to pay no matter what, where, who, how, or why,, but it would be good if i had the law on my side in case of an accident...crazy.gif

No, you don't, this is an urban myth.

Section 20 (500B)

[A driver is responsible for not letting his passengers, animals, or loads to fall, leak, give out smell, reflect light, etc, which may cause harm or danger to the public.]

So Farting is out of the question then ???
