rene123 Posted December 5, 2012 Share Posted December 5, 2012 Dirty beaches are common in all countries that don't have the funding to put in proper infrastructure before they start developing. Preventing pollution is not really a high priority in Thailand. There are lots of clean beaches to the south of Pattaya towards Sattahip. All you need to do is rent a scooter and search them out. You found it correct. But....sleezy filthy hell holes have there place if that is what you are looking for. Naughty weekends do well in these types of places.
