Dear CM Forum Members

I posted about 15 minutes ago, requesting day trips for January 23rd and 24, 2013.

Now, please recommend 3 fine dining restaurants in the Greater Chiang Mai area. Nimmankemin Road and close by. Not far off the city.

There are 3 couples that will be staying at the Hillside Condo 3.

My name is James.

Pasta Cafe on Nimmanhaemin is not exactly a fine dining place but food is a lot better than at least Kantary hills and Four Seasons (and cheaper). I'd also recommend River Market as a good place to enjoy the view and the food, excellent service.

Farang Ses - Mandarin Oriental, the best, lovely French; Le Coq d'Or - old fashioned elegant French fare; Chez Marco - fine Mediterranean food, if not ambiance; Tengoku de Cuisine - lovely Japanese (think foie gras sushi); Reun Tamarind - Tamarind Village, Lanna, regional food, boutique hotel; Favola - Italian at Le Meridien, so too hotelly in setting, but good food; Cafe Mini - cute, not that elegant, but good food; Cuisine de Garden - again, not that fine, but fascinating nouveau creations; Ginger - adorable, cosy, elegant, designy.
