my friend is sending some money (cash) over from India to Thailand

he was going to send via western union however it seems Indian western union can only revive cash from from Thailand.. not send to Thailand from India.

for whatever reasons unknown to me he does not want to put it into a Indian bank and send via swift.. and they will not do a over the counter swift transfer.

also he says to send rupees from India the bank will change they currency from rupees to sterling then back to rupees (very odd) and a lot will get lost in transfer fees.. (but does not want to use bank anyway).

he says the other way is thru the backdoor.. he gives it to a guy he knows in India. who tells his family member in Thailand to pay the cash out .. for a FEE of 5000bt though (10%) lol

does anyone know of other ways to send cash to Thailand from India other than bank transfer from an account or western union

Better find a better way than the trusted friend personally delivering it. A friend of mine lost thousands by just such a completely 100% trustworthy friend who had worked for him for a long time.
