Thailand Must Learn From Philippines On Abolishing Death Penalty

Featured Replies

. It's just revenge, not justice.

How can you say it's not justice? "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" - it's poetic justice.

And your armchair. Read my posts again. It's all in there.

I'm not the one sitting in an armchair suggesting that taxpayers build more prisons - that's your caper.

It's impractical. Why do you think life sentences are so short? This is not a world for idealists.

And your arguments and faith in justice systems that give death sentences are simplistic and naive.

There's no need to start insulting the messenger. We all have our opinions.

Your ideas are about as "simplistic and naive" as they come.

You are absolutely right.

The murder rates in Western European countries are the lowest in the world, and as far as I know they don't have a death penalty.

Nah, it just looks good in practice, in theory it would never work.
