90 Reporting Issue

Featured Replies

To cut a very long story short: I should report to immigration in Bangkok again in January 2013 (my extension of stay is valid until August 2013). The issue is I'm moving to Korat for at least a couple of months or eventually permanently depending on how I get on up there.

Is it possible to report to immigration in Korat in January (and every 90 days for as long as I'm staying there) or do I first have to inform immigration in BKK that I'm moving to Korat?

I really don't want to have to travel the 3,5 hours back to BKK just to report and then drive back up to Korat on a regular basis.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

You should file a TM28 form, change of address (no charge) with Korat immigration and due your 90 day reporting there with no problem.

Brilliant! That sounds very easy and straight forward... thanks for the advice!

where ever I am I just post 90 daY REPORT

That might not work well if you no longer live at reporting residence or in same service area of extension immigration office.
