Non Immigrant Type O Visa From Penang

Featured Replies

Hi There,

I am about to go to Penang for my Non Immigrant Type O Visa (Married to Thai National) .

I want a multiple entry Visa so i assume that form TM 8 is the right one. Marriage Certificate , Copy of Passport , Birth Certificate and the Pics i have . But the Tha Bank account i do not have... I am not working in Thailand and all the Banks where i live(Nakhon Sawan) ask for a Work Permit in Order to make a Bank Account. So the Money i have sent went to an account on my Wifes Name . I can show evidence that this actually comes from my Overseas Account. Furthermore i am also able to present my Contract for Work. Will that be enough for the Visa Trip to Penang?

Anybody have any advice?

Thanks in advance,

RCM

Forgot to mention i am 36yrs old and Austrian national...so it isn't a retirement visa...

Marriage Certificate , Copy of Passport , Birth Certificate.

These are what you need.

Take a copy of you wife's id card and Tabien Bahn as well.

Then you should be all right at the consulate for the visa.

You will need the bank account and pics later if you want to apply for 1 year extension.
