bananafarang
I am an American citizen with retirement extension visa in Thailand. My g/f who is Chinese citizen will join me on one month tourist visa (acquired in China). I need to extend her visa as long as possible. Does anybody have same experiences? What is the best option for her to stay in Thailand as long as possible? Thanks in advance
Lite Beer
Marry you and get 12 month extensions as your dependent.

ubonjoe
Getting married would be about the only choice you have unless she could find a job and get an extension that way. Or go to school to study the Thai language. She will have to return to China to get another tourist visa because the nearby consulates will not do visas for Chinese nationals. Tomtomtom69
She can try the Thai consulate in Kunming, the nearest Chinese city to Thailand with direct flights flights from Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and even Phuket. However, there is a limit to the number of visas she can obtain in a certain time period there.
