I have some friends visiting me in January and the air-con in my guest rooms is not working. I live in a rented home and the owners live in Europe and they would like to wait till they come back next summer to fix the unit. To complicate things the faulty unit was purchased in Singapore and the local air-con dealers are not interested in trying to fix the unit. I think my only option is to rent a portable unit. I don't wish to purchase a unit for only 1 week use. Is there anywhere in Phuket where I can rent portable Air-Con units? Any advice would be really appreciated
