Another important point, but you probably already know this. NEVER transfer Baht (THB). Always order your home-country bank to transfer an amount in your home country's currency and let the conversion to THB be made by your Thai bank. You get a much better exchange rate this way. -

Police Bust Counterfeit Milk Network, Seize Over 4 Million Baht Worth of Fake Products Authorities from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), led by the Consumer Protection Police Division (CPPD), have dismantled a counterfeit network selling fake Ensure Gold powdered milk. The operation resulted in the seizure of 5,370 cans of the fraudulent product across 13 items, with an estimated total value of 4.5 million baht. The combination of sh*t-faced drunk and out late at night alone could prove fatal in many cities in the world. In my working years, I lived in, worked in or visited many, many cities across the globe. The nine years I lived in Pattaya as a retired person were among the safest I experienced anywhere. I don't think being drunk, even sh*t-faced, is enough in and of itself to get you in trouble in Pattaya. A drunk tourist or expat, whatever his nationality, will have to pick a fight with someone for things to turn violent. Exceptions may exist, but they are rare, very rare. -

Zelensky knows the game is up.
Putin started the escalation by adding foreign (North Koreans) into the fray. The West responded by allowing missile strikes into western Russia. This is a good strategy by the West. Putin will be hoping Trump intervenes when he becomes president in 2 months. Putin can't escalate the conflict further without the risk of putting Trump offside. From Trump's perspective, his negotiating hand has been strengthened for when he does become president. He has more to trade if he really wants to end the war. Onviously the only possible negotiated solution is for Russia to keep all the territory it has annexed and for Ukraine to join NATO. There is no other 'security gaurantees' Russia can offer as it has already broken so many previous agreements. In regard to the North Korean troops, I hope Ukraine opens a huge propaganda campaign aimed at those troops using Internet, letter drops and every other means. The messages, in Korean, will tell the soldiers if they give up to Ukaranian troops they will be kept safe, never returned to North Korea and will be resettled in South Korea. A chance fora new life! In any case, just the threat of desertions would stop Russia/North Korea from deploying North Korean troops on the front line.
