What ulterior motives are behind that in the plans ahead for the Shitawatra family, oops sorry i,ve mis-spelt it.

Never mind.

Watch T.Visa and all will become apparent before the 1st of March, as the plot thickens

Perhaps the Kamoy in chief is folowing his childrens advice and off loading conflicts of interest.

What a sarcastic comment, again sorry.......................................

If it wasn,t so serious it would be hilarous.

AIS to abolish president's post

Source: TMCnet (Bangkok Post (Thailand) (KRT) Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) Feb. 17

Advanced Info Service will eliminate the president's position that is being vacated by Yingluck Shinawatra, the sister of Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, according to a company source.

The source said the decision was made by the Singaporean state investment company Temasek Holdings after taking over AIS's parent company, Shin Corporation.

Ms Yingluck had been the president of AIS since the post was created five years ago on her initiative, the source said.

Executive chairman Somprasong Boonyachai will assume the president's duties at AIS once the board formally approves Ms Yingluck's resignation. She said earlier that she would leave the company by March.

As well, AIS has created a new business integration unit that will blend technology and marketing with a customer focus as opposed to a product focus.

Meanwhile, the company is ready to go ahead with its investment in a third-generation (3G) mobile wireless system that would ultimately cost 100 billion baht, according to Vichien Mektrakarn, executive vice-president for operations.

It has earmarked 16 billion baht for investment in 2006, to be split equally between 3G upgrades and 2G network maintenance.

don't know about ulterior motives, just common business practice.out with the old guard.Probably part of the deal.Interesting that the Presidents job has been done away with...sounds like a redundancy, so that there will be no legal challange from Ms. Yingluck.

Preparing to leave the sinking ship i suppose.

With that amount of cash you can retire comfortable anywhere in the world.
