I don't often use the emoticon function..............

.............and there are a few that I don't understand

Like this guy......neus.gif

What is the point of that?......why would you use that emoticon? What does it mean? Which emoticons do you like? hate? not understand?

If anyone could take the time to explain that would be handy. coffee1.gif

I used neus.gif recently when replying to someone I thought was a grumpy git: I really wanted to use another, (see para 2), but decided not to. Best use of them is to try to show that one is not necessarily serious (AKA taking the p1ss) whistling.gif

However, there are two that are too similar. One is thumbsup.gif and the other is (not). In the past, I have clicked on "Show All" so that I could see what each emoticon's name / intended use was.

There are not enough emoticons in here. Always struggling to find a good one. There is no shame emoticon for example.rolleyes.gif

Tell me - do you often feel shame? laugh.png

If you see what that emoticon is called you will see it is called Yohan.

Yohan used to be a TV memeber and when that emoticon was added it was added for his benefit, it kind of summed him up.
