Tourist Visa After Ed Visa 90 Days?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I've got an ED Visa of 90 days. I'm coming to Thailand on January. My plan is to stay longer and I'd like to know if I can get a Tourist Visa of other 60 days after the one I've already got?!

Thanks,

AL

You do not provide nationality but most travelers would not have a problem obtaining a new tourist visa in the region - you would have to exit Thailand however.

If you're actually attending classes of some sort, with paperwork from your school, you and apply for a 90 day extension of stay.

DowntownAl I don't think the school will give me a paper with upon written I'm going to join other courses if I'm not going to do so and my plan is to travel all over the country after this time.

Do u have any other suggestion guys. I'd like to spend other 3 months in Bangkok and in the south.

Thanks for your help

AL

Yes, you would ned to apply for a tourist visa in a neighburing country, which should not be a problem.

You might even get a double entry tourist visa in Laos. But the signle 60 day toruist visa can be extended by 30 days for 1,900 baht and gives you thus 90 days..
