PATTAYA:--Following complaints regarding aggressive beach vendors, Pattaya Police rounded-up 12 of them early on Thursday Morning and discovered that 9 of them had recently taken illegal drugs.

Complaints from tourists had been made at Pattaya Police Station regarding the beach vendors, especially those who were offering “Sex Show” tickets. If you said no to them, they would often become aggressive and would sometimes become violent.

During the operation only 3 of the Sex Show Vendors could be found with the other 9 selling counterfeit items on the beach such as wrist watches.

I reckon some of them are confused now. Isn't that why Pattaya exists? To sell overpriced entrances to sleazy sex shows to f-rangs to create jobs for Thais?

Yes, rather than close down the venues offering sex shows they have arrested those that offer to sell the tickets.
