Probably would. I'm on the computer while the family watch TV. It does annoy me that I have to cut myself off from the family totally by putting on headphones and listening to music. If I don't have the headphones on, the stupid sound effects drive me crazy.

Unplug the headphones, turn the volume up, and drive them crazy.
