Smokie. When Christian Bale is stood on the roof and the USAF pilot waves to him...is it a Mustang?http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IKbg7RmW8rY&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DIKbg7RmW8rY

That's weird to see him as a young lad. I never saw that movie. I only know Christian from American Psycho and Batman.

Not bad in Captain Corelli's Mandolin with Nicolas Cage either.

Co-incidentally, Bale's father was a commercial pilot.

Dying to know if its a Mustang.

any assistance appreciated.

Fab plane, my favourite. thumbsup.gif

Agree. Still get chills seeing one operating. V-12, 1720 HP Rolls Royce Packard engine. I understand when taking off at full throttle you nearly have to stand on the rudder to keep it on the center line due to the huge thrust.

Rule Britannia with a bit of US assistance. FANTASTIC.

Rolls Royce Packard eh. No wonder they called it a Cadillac.

V8 or V12 ok by me.

As this being the Plane spotting quiz and all, I have been given the rare opportunity to having being escorted along the Suvarnabhumi grounds to reach my plane 3 months ago.

(The reason why the escort has been given is that I was annoyed to wait and went back to get a fresh B200 tuna sandwich, I came back late... very late)

In front: my annoyed wife and another couple that was late for the flight as well.

It felt very special and managed to get some rare shots.

That ATR is much more hi tech and modern than many classic Jets in THAI, Air Asia and NOK fleets

Boeing Canada - V-22

Yep, taken in cobra Gold 2013 - image credit here

I am not sure of it's actual name now, who buys who etc......

Maybe wiki is out of date https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell_Boeing_V-22_Osprey

Here is a Boeing Canada reference, http://www.boeing.ca/en/Products-and-Services/Defense,-Space-Security/V-22-Osprey
