Happy ending to possible drowning on Jomtien Beach

PATTAYA:--A desperate search for a 16 year old Russian Girl who was feared drowned ended well in the early hours of Thursday on Jomtien Beach.

Pattaya’s Sea Rescue Service was called into action just after 2am to search for a 16 year old girl who was thought to have gone for a late night swim on Jomtien Beach.

The girl’s distraught mother, who would not give us her name and appeared to be in an intoxicated state, had to be restrained after becoming aggressive towards members of the public and Police

From the photos, looks like a man is passed out on the beach also.

Did they spend all day boozing, fall asleep, then wake up thinking their daughter had drowned?

I hope that the p*ssed-up mother will get a big bill from the rescue services for their wasted time, and a couple of days free accommodation in Soi 9 to reflect on the disadvantages of being drunk and aggressive in public.
