I have a triple entry tourist visa nearing the end of the first 60 days.

Can i pay the 1,900 bt at the Tak immigration in mae sot to get the 30 days extension. Without leaving Thailand.

Then after that cross into Bhurma for the new 60 days and extend again for 30 days.

Then just before my visa expires cross again to Bhurma for another 60 days and then extend for a final 30 days.

If the above can be done ok ,if i dont return to my home country for a new visa ,

where is the best place for me to get a new visa from .

Yes, as long as all of your entries are made on or before the "must enter date" on your VISA!

You can do exactly as you stated which should give almost 9 months.

After that you could get a 2 entry visa in Vientiane which would give you almost 6 months.

Likely never under normal policy of only 5 tourist visas but by the time you go to apply for your first tourist visa things could have changed so we really can not have any reliable predictions on what will happen years from now. The aim is to prevent those who are suspected of working here from doing so on anything but non immigrant visa entry and having a work permit (as is the case in most countries) so those staying long term and not working are kind of in position of proving they are not working and using what visa is available at the time.
