Can someone tell me , in childlike steps, how to highlight sections of someone else's post so that it can be dealt with bit by bit ? GU22 and others are good at doing this and it makes for a more interesting read , so can someone tell me what buttons to click ?

Alternatively, if you just wish to quote one previous post, then hit the "reply" button of that post and its automatically quoted for you.

One quick way is to copy and paste the section of text you want to quote into the reply box. Then Highlight it and click the 'Wrap in a Quote' icon (lies between the ''tree' and '#' icon).

Although, this misses out the 'Silomfan said:' bit, so you will have to add this yourself.
