Drunk Young Thai Survives Suicidal Leap Over GF

PATTAYA:--A 21-year-old Thai man with girlfriend troubles survived a drunken leap from the 5th floor of a Jomtien condominium building. He told rescuers he got drunk to celebrate the New Year, but after arguing with his girlfriend, he decided to spite her by jumping off a nearby building.

PATTAYA – December 31, 2012 [PDN]; at 2 a.m., a report of someone falling from a high place was received by the radio center of the rescue unit of Sawangboribultharmmasatharn Pattaya foundation, Chonburi province.

The incident occurred near the entrance of sales office of The Maldives condominium on Second Jomtien Road. Rescue officers arrived at the scene, located at the grass forest beside the wall of the 5-story building.

Well that really showed her.

What's the matter with the Thais? They jump from low floors, on soft surfaces, and survive with expensive injuries. Do the spouses have to shoulder the bills, and is it this what they mean by 'spite the girlfriend'?

Make her feel guilty and sad at what the outcome of her choice was, thus making you happy... even though you're dead.

Humans haven't evolved half as much as we'd like to believe.
