Can someone recommend where I can buy modern/contemporary style leather dining chairs, I have tried "Index" some nice styles but (only pvc available) also looked at Home Pro same story

I am quite prepared to go to Bangkok if necessary

There is a new shop on Sukumvit called Fur-9 on the South bound side near MAKRO. The parent company has a web site for the Bangkok branch here:

Did you look at that store next to HomeWorks on Suk near S. Pattaya Road? Can't remember the name, but some pretty good high end furniture. Also, Euro Designs has a new showroom on Suk. Not sure where, but I'm sure a Google search will get it.

Another option is a store on Thepprasit. Again, can't remember the name, but it is on the right about 1/2 way down as you are headed towards the beach. Quite a bit of nice furniture in there.

All these places are expensive, but good quality stuff. As you say, better opportunities in Bangkok and much cheaper.

Euro Design is just north of Pattaya Klang on the west side of Suk. In the same shopping center as a Tops market, just before McDonalds.
