ballbreaker
Power of attorneys I have done in the past required both grantor and grantee to be present so could sign in front of wittnesses who also sign. A bit difficult when your in different countries.
BIGJIMMY
Thanks for the reply, when you did the power of attorney was it in Thailand or elsewhere? Thanks
ballbreaker
Elsewhere but I have seen Thai power of attorneys done where only grantor signs in front of wittnesses and others with grantee signature included. Perhaps it has something to do with purpose or how document is worded.

dksharron
The owner in the UK needs to go to the Thai Embassy there and they can assist him. If he were here, he would fill the Land Office Power of Attorney Form, give you a copy of his passport and visa page. As he is not here, he cannot have a visa page, so must go to the Thai Embassy in the UK to have all of this verified. They will either write a power of attorney form, or stamp the land office form, I do not remember which one was done a couple of years ago. He can call the Thai embassy and you can drop into the Land Office to check on the current rules. This form is for a condo.
