Where For High Grade Tv?

Hello

Where in Chiang Mai can I find high grade TV and home cinema equipment?

Some where that would get something like this in:

http://technobuffalo.com/2013/01/07/samsung-floating-85-inch-4k-tv-unveiled/

Or at least 50 -60inch

How is price compared to west? I have a nice TV in UK I'm wondering to send over along with another household stuffs on my Thai missus name so no tax issues hopefully since used household items? But I'm worried it might break in transit since I threw the packaging away. Or that we encounter tax extortion problems. Any advice on a good door to door company from personal experience?

If the TV prices new in CM are something like double then it might be worth sending mine but if its not too bad just buy a new one over there.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Thats a $25,000 dollar TV and Not released as yet so you will not find one in CM older models yes and prices are not too bad for the 40-55 range

25thousand dollars really? Blimey think I'll pass on that one then. I got the 55inch 3D Samsung Smart TV summer 2013. Cost 2grand English inc a free Tab = about 100,000bht ; I thought not quite double size might equally double the price maybe a bit more but 25k is a big jump. What would the same I bought cost in CM then please?

Also that TV is 4K technology and pretty useless in Thailand to get the most out of it.

Also DVD players- I have my DVD collection (bought in Mae Sai) in UK and the 25MB and 50MB bluerays go all jerky like this UK DVD players not built to handle such definition. So I got a new decent Samsung player but its still jerky and now some DVDs get blocked by "china protect" zoning / piracy message obviously built in to the new machine. Any problems like this over there? Maybe an "unlocked" machine from Mae Sai needed? Also I wonder if the TV might spoon out with the zoning since it so "Smart" it will know its no in England any more.

My other kind of related question is about Internet.

Games shops obviously have pritty great connections to be able to stream live gaming. So how can I get like this for my home? So I can stream TV / movies etc.

do they buy like a professional package with extra and priority bandwidth or something?

Cheers

You could get a nice projection unit up and running if you have a light controlled room, reasonably priced nowadays.

What would you expect from pirated DVD's, and Blu-Rays ?

Content that would take advantage of 4k capable televisions will probably not be widely available for at least one, probably two to three years. I'd suggest you use the 25k to make a deposit on space-flight, since your head is already in orbit :)

First order of business should be a substantial investment in a comfortable, reclinable armchair that is so luxuriant that one is easily lulled to sleep watching whatever's on. That way, the quality of the DVD's will not matter.

They're not pirated are they? :0 !

To be honest they are much better quality than the DVD 9 here in the UK and here a Blue ray doesn't even come with 25 or 50MB yet. It seems to be the processing power of the machine more than the disc because all the others work fine. Also The 25MB ones are ok when slow sceem but then the quick motion like a car chase doesn't compute properly. I'm pritty sure its that the western standard tech is not up to the more advance asian technology.
