rene123
There is a Google map of Chiang Mai courtesy of mcgriffith and Greenside at the top of the forum page. It has a lot of information of interest to anyone new to the city. Edited January 8, 2013 by rene123
WinnieTheKhwai
can anyone give me directions to chang mai bus station, i will be travelling south on the 107. The 107 is the road North past Mae Rim to Fang. Many (all?) of those buses leave from the Chang Phuak station, which is here: http://goo.gl/maps/a8fU4 If it's to destinations further away, then you'd get a bus at the main Arcade Bus Station, which is the much larger one. Here: http://goo.gl/maps/kojj1 Or did you mean that you are making your own way going South along the 107 towards Chiang Mai and locating the bus station from there? In that case just take a left when you hit the the Superhighway ring, which is highway 11. Then keep going, cross the river, go straight at the first traffic light intersection and then do a right turn at the intersection with the Doi Saket road (Highway 118). (Be sure to move on to parallel on the left before turning right, as the main road follows an underpass there.) Some more information will be good in giving you a recommendation. Either way though, above are the two bus station locations. If it's a bus to any place other than points North of Chiang Mai (Fang, Pai, etc.) then you will want the main bus station.
