Air Asia Sale....not So 'hot Prices'

Featured Replies

Just got in from a day trip to Singapore, Work thought they would save some money and fly me Air Asia............ never again. Pattaya to Don Meung is an absolute ball-ache.

With due respect, more info would be applicable here and appreciated by others who use, or may use AA.

Air Asia fly out of Don Mueng now, I work in Laem Chabang and live in Pattaya. using Air Asia has now become a real pain in the ass.

What other info would you like ?

What did you do before they opened Swampy?

Or before they built the expresseways before they opened Swampy?

To be honest I don't give a fig for pre-swampy days as I never came here before then.

Forget AirAsia to OZ, go Scoot to Bangkok or chances are high you will find Cathay Pacific, SQ, or many other decent service (forget THAI) airlines for cheaper that Air Asia to Oz.. thumbsup.gif

Only thing is, that Air Asia appear to be very reliable which is more than i can say for SCOOT.

Well in the pre-Swampy and pre-pre-expressway days it used to take 4 hours DM to Pattaya, now it takes 2 hours, so to some of us going back to DM is no big deal.

I did contemplate commuting from Chiang Mai every day but my employer thought that to be too unreasonable.

No refund, no change of date(unless you pay again in full!) and no change of destination are allowed. I just lost 3200 baht 20 days prior to my flight. First experience, I will be careful next time choosing AA.

And all stated in the fare rules when you book your ticket and before you pay. So what's you beef?

AirAsia might had disenfranchised their customer base with some previous supposed sales ... however.

They have some good deals on at the moment ... see my post above.

.

If you don't have any travel fixed date, they have a very helpful new tool which let you find the cheapest date of departure within a range of xx weeks...

I've just got a return Bangkok > Bali for 6,500 -during Easter weekend!- this including 2x luggage 20 kg surcharge fees.

By the way, I always pay Air Asia through Siam Commercial internet banking -credit card being never involved-... Depending your departure date and/or promotion rules, they give you between 3 and 72 hours to authorize the money transfer...

Usually, as soon it's done and this within less than five minutes, you receive your eticket

lazyg ... website for what you mention above?
